Warranty terms and conditions

1.Warranty conditions from KT Optics

– KT Optic product warranty period commences only on the date of purchase.

– The warranty is cover only in a manufacturing defect case.

-Customer has to bring the receipt, VIP card or warranty card presenting to a staff as a proof of purchasing date. In case the customer need the warranty protection, please keep receipt, VIP card or warranty card along the product lifespan.

 

2.Warranty exclusions

-the damaged glasses frames and lens caused by wrong usage, by an accident from wearing or by unaware of the facts and improper usage.

-the damages caused from decaying due to lifetime, including lens and unprotected parts which have been damaged from scratches as they are used normally.

-damaged products caused from improper storage, being kept in high temperature or chemical corrosion.

 

3.Glasses frames warranty conditions

-Damaged frames, from manufacturing defects, can be changed within 7 days commenced on the receiving date. (due to the company’s consideration)

-Changing frames into different models or brands is not allowed, except for manufacturing defects, and only the company has the right to inspect.

 

4.Lens warranty conditions

-The incorrect visual measurement lens can be changed within 7 days commenced on the receiving date.

-Lens coating warranty covers for 1 year commenced on the receiving date, including corrosions, cracks and ripples.

-Airwaer lens warranty covers for 1 year commenced on the receiving date, for cracks.

 

5.Repair conditions

-1 year free service commenced on the purchasing date. (repairing parts are excluded)

-Damaged glasses sent for repairing after the warranty expiration will be repaired according to their conditions. The reparation and spares changes will be charged.

-Reparation by brazing can only be done with the metallic frame. For the frame made of plastic, wood or any special materials are excluded at all cases.

-Reparation by changing spares covers for 1 year commenced on the purchasing date. The customer must pay for the spares. The prices of spare parts, front parts and legs are at 40% from the tags. (legs are sold only in pairs) The company can only repair the model with spares.

 

6.Privileges for KT OPTIC’s customers

-Free changing for bended screws and frame modification through the glasses lifetime.

-Free glasses frame cleaning service for the lifetime.

-Free changing for spare arm pads through the lifetime commenced on the receiving date. (only apply to the standard arm pads)
